Steve Bird is a graduate of Roseworthy College in Australia, one of the world’s finest wine institutions and has more than 20 years of winemaking experience in New Zealand, Australia and China. Working in facilities ranging from the boutique, to massive, modern, state of the art complexes, Steve has produced a succession of award winning, highly acclaimed and commercially successful wines.
Through Winework Solutions’ association with Steve, we can provide assistance in all facets of winemaking such as contract winemaking, problem solving, technical advice, export preparation and winery design services.
Steve brings valuable skills to vineyard development projects too. His experience has been gained over many years and with a number of site developments, both large and small. His innovative and practical approach to the challenges of viticulture in New Zealand, combined with his recognised talent in applied science and his good commercial sense make Steve an invaluable member of our consulting team.

Vintech Pacific provides a range of process technologies for the wine industry. Their services are all focused on quality outcomes, and are mobile to the winery door, anywhere in New Zealand.
Mobile services include STARS Tartrate Removal, Rotary Drum Vacuum Filtration, MEMSTAR Reverse Osmosis Processors, Ozone Sanitation and Barrel Washing, Flash Pasteurisation, Cross-flow Filtration, STS 45 Centrifuges, Juice Flotation Units, Wine Warming and Ultra Filtration, plus Phoenix Wine Barrel Rejuvenation and Barrel Lease and Mobile Alcohol Distillation.
