A multi-clonal selection (Cl5, 114, 115, 667, 777, Able) of Marlborough Pinot Noir fruit from our Weld Pass Single Vineyard was wild fermented and matured with french oak for seven months.

Medium light ruby red in colour, with a touch of youthful purple. On the nose there is a complex combination of chocolate, coffee and dark liquorice combined with hints of rose petal and raspberry.

Fermented in stainless, ~95% of this blend received oak influence for chips and the remaining ~5% from eight months on staves. Wine has completed MLF and is currently sitting on lees. Available as Cellar Bright.
