A bright, pure example of Pinot Noir, displaying good fruit weight and sweet, spicy undertones.
Bright ruby red hue. An alluring bouquet of wild strawberry, rhubarb, nutmeg, cinnamon, vine blossom and liquorice. The palate is bright, supple, fine and long with salivating tamarillo, red currant jelly, parsley, chalk, and spring water.
The fruit for this wine was grown predominantly in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys sub-region and entirely hand-picked, all from close-planted vineyards. This is a high-end, complex and generous Pinot Noir from an esteemed producer. It is refined and textured in a more traditional style.
This Pinot Noir exhibits intense fruit flavours, combined with elegant refinement and concentration. Seductive aromas of red cherries and plums give way to a palate of savoury flavours and subtle spices, broadening out to fine silky tannins for a long, lingering finish.
