The fruit was hand-picked in ripe condition and was 20% whole bunch pressed and kept in oak (20% new French oak) for approximately nine months prior to bottling.
The bouquet shows dark cherry, dried herb, earthy mushroom and toasted almond characters, followed by a juicy palate that is elegantly weighted and lingering. The wine combines ripe berry flavours with savoury nuances, finishing sturdy and dry.
