GS1 Specification Product Images
GS1 is a not-for-profit organization that develops and maintains global standards for business communication. The best known of these standards is the barcode, a symbol printed on products that can be scanned electronically.
The GS1 Image Specification Standard is widely used in FMCG by supermarkets and large format retailers.

- File Naming: The image must be named with the GTIN/barcode number.
- Vintage Removal: Vintage is removed in post production
- File Type: JPEG
- Background Colour: White (RGB 255/255/255)
- Colour Mode: sRGB
- Resolution: 300ppi
- Dimensions: Minimum 2500 pixels on the longest edge of the product when cropped tight.
- Clipping Path: Clear-cut, with one active clipping path named ‘Path 1’ around the product in the image.
