Meet the Winework Directors
Jean Ford

Jean has a love of quality wine and good food. Her appreciation was greatly stimulated while working for an importer and distributor of quality wines and foodstuffs.

Jean has been a company director for over 40 years and has nearly 50 years of administrative, office management and commercial experience.

From 1981 to 1992 Jean was Principal's Secretary and Office Manager of an Auckland secondary school with a roll of over 1000 students and a teaching and ancillary staff of approximately 100. This significant role allowed her to finely hone her management and organisational skills.

As Secretary of the Waitemata A&P Association, for three years, a voluntary organisation which organises and produces an annual two-day rural show, Jean gained a valuable appreciation of rural industry and an ability to relate with people from diverse backgrounds.

For all her working life Jean has worked alongside management in a number of successful businesses. She brings a great deal of knowledge and experience in commercial operations and management.
